Day 17- Something you are looking forward to

Now that I am married to my wonderful husband, I am so excited to move to the next step in my life- having a family. I can't wait to be a mother and raise children.

As my mother would tell you, I have been playing "mom" since I was 10 years old. My parents were very busy working and they needed all the help that they could get to raise 5 kids. I was trained on the washer, dryer, and folding of clothes at the young age of 10. I was taught how to use the stove and start cooking not long after that. I did make some good spaghetti growing up! I would take care of my younger brothers and sister and make sure everyone was doing what they were supposed to.

I dream of having 2-3 children and giving them all the love and attention that I can provide. Newborn babies are my favorite and I think the most comfortable thing in life is to rock a baby to sleep in your arms . It is one of the most relaxing things to me.

Here is to starting a family of my own...

Day 16- Dream House

A dream house for me wouldn't be anything extravagant but would be a house I would be proud of to raise my family in. First, I would love for it to be in a suburb on the west side of Cleveland (Rocky River, Fairview, Lakewood, Westlake) on a quiet side street in a development. I would love to have my kids grow up the way I did and had neighborhood friends up and down the street to play with.

For the outside of the house, I would like it to be a 2 story colonial and I love brick houses. I recently saw a house that had gray colored bricks and I loved that. I would like the house to have 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a dining room, an open and large kitchen, basement, and an attached garage. I would be dreaming big to have a walk in closet in my bedroom with plenty of top shelving in the closet for shoes. My bathroom would be a dream if it had a jacuzzi tub, a walk in shower, and his and hers' sinks.

The outside of my house would be wonderfully landscaped and have my favorite flower bushes- hydrangeas. A big back yard would be nice with a fence going around it, a pool, and a deck off the house.

I am very happy of the house we have now. It is the perfect house to start a family in. It has 3 bedrooms (our bedroom is huge!), 2.5 baths, a fabulous large and open kitchen with plenty of cupboard space, a porch off the kitchen, a deck off the living room, an attached garage, basement, and tastefully decorated in earth tones which is what I like.

The best part of my house is my husband that is in it with me...

Day 15

Day 15- Favorite Bible verse

John 3:16
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

This bible verse is so comforting to hear. Each and every time I hear this bible verse, it makes me think even more about me as a person in this world today. These are such very encouraging and influential words.

Day 14

Day 14- A picture that makes you happy

As anyone who knows me, I am a newlywed and I find something else that I love about my husband each day. This picture makes my heart melt as he is watching me walk up the aisle with my dad on our wedding day. I love the look on his face. The best part of this is that his dad is behind him as being Frank's best man (I know cute, right??) and both of their heads are tilted the same way and they are like mirror images of each other. My handsome groom waiting for me! LOVE

Day 13

Day 13- Your goals

My #1 goal in life is to be the best mom that I know how to be. I have wanted nothing else but to be a mom and have loving kids.

#2 goal in life is to be happy. Too much time in life is spent dealing with the stress of daily life. It is about how you handle and react to the stress that will win in the end. Just taking things one at a time and taking time to think before you react will lead you to feeling better overall and happier.

#3 goal is to further my education. I often think about which road I take next. I know I am very good at my job and I do enjoy my job now so I think that going back to school to get my Master's in social work to get more credentials would be the way to go. I also often think about going to nursing school to get my RN. Nursing is something I have always had a lot of interest in and with all my years of working in the medical field, I think I would do very well. I also like the flexibility and the vast array of jobs open to nurses as well.

#4 goal is to be the best wife that I can be. My husband Frank is a wonderful person. He is the greatest , sweetest, and most caring person that I have ever met. I want to give him all of these same qualities and give him everything he wants in life. My husband's satisfaction and happiness means so much to me and will allow me to be the best wife I can be.

#5 and final goal is to be comfortable in my own skin. I like most ladies want to change things about myself or change things in my past. I can't turn the clock back and I am me and that is great. All woman want to loose weight, have nicer clothes, buy expensive and fancy make up, and have the "to die for haircut". I want to be happy with my body, look, style, and hair that I have. I have the heart of gold and I carry myself in a professional and classy way and I love that about me.

Day 12

Day 12- What you believe.

Something that I strongly believe in and I will be teaching to my children one day is to "treat others how you want to be treated".

Anytime I am in a situation (whether it is good or bad), I keep in mind how would I want to be treated in this situation. All it takes is a few minutes to think about what you are going to say or how you are going to react before opening your mouth.

Other things that go with this belief is to never judge others that you don't know, think before you speak, and never assume anything.

I think we would have a better world if we all had this belief.

Day 11

Day 11- Favorite TV shows

This is one blog that I can have a lot of different examples of. Ask my husband and our fights over who gets to DVR what! One reason that I enjoy certain TV shows is that it is one way for me to relax. After a long day at work, I enjoy coming home and not having to think about anything. I put on one of my favorite TV shows and that is my ultimate relaxation for the evening.

As you will see, most of my favorite TV shows are reality TV shows. One thing I enjoy and have an unlimited interest in is wedding shows. Seeing people happy and in love brings me excitement.

Not in any particular order, some of my favorite TV shows are:

The Bachelor/ The Bachelorette
Four Weddings
Say Yes to the Dress
The Real World
Jersey Shore
Bethany Ever After
Sex and the City
Modern Family
Cops
48 Hours of Hard Evidence
